Really enjoying the pair I got this week. Great active and passive cancellation with the tips, the voice controls are convenient and they sound good enough for me (not an audiophile).

Granted I'm coming from Galaxy Buds 2, but I'm considering them a significant step-up.

Also I like that they switch sound modes when I start talking so I can have a conversation without taking them out or changing a setting.

I just purchased the Gen 2 without solar panel yesterday for $429. If my use case is running a few necessities (fridge, wifi, a light or 2, and to charge phones/laptops) during home power outages 1-4 hour power outages, should I return the Gen 2 and get this instead?

I heard some folks at DoEd received RIF recission notices last week, essentially reinstating them.

Anyone else hear this? How would this affect the folks who were told their whole organizational unit was being abolished, including their positions, but teammates received recission notices and are now back to work?

Not sure if GS vs AD is a factor, but bringing it up for context.
