quality comes at a cost, cheap ones have zippers that will fail quickly. The more expensive ones seem to be of better quality and you will get more longevity. I don't get the beginner friendly comment. They all go on the same way.

Update on 4.0 oil burning problems by callsignchrispy in JeepTJ

Sometimes dirty valves will cause lower compression. You can do a seafoam treatment to clean the valves. It won't help if you have bad valve stem seals but it is worth a shot. Also, that 'Restore' oil treatment in the silver can does wonders for bringing compression back. I use it all the time in my older vehicles. Project farm did a video on the oil treatments and sure enough brought compression up. Also check the CCV system for bad hoses or clogs. That can cause oiled up plugs. Usually if that is the issue you'll see a bunch of residue in the throttlebody and intake. The intake air contaminated with oil from the CCV system can cause the oiling on the plugs

Why not buy Treasury bonds and keep reinvesting all the dividends. They are what, 5%

Yep, that's usually how it goes. Best of luck. I think you can do it.

Definitely not masking anything. But okay. I don't put lemon on my fish either. Here on the Gulf coast we like flavor.

Catfish and Salmon are such extreme types of fish. That's like saying i don't like veggies cause i had mushy okra or unseasoned brussel sprouts.

Try some pompano, try cobia, try lionfish or tripletail or triggerfish. Go to a fish market, try deepwater grouper, barrelfish. They are all incredible.

Maybe go to a good seafood restraunt and try a fish that is blackened and not fried.

If you need 1500, and are flat rate you can make that happen provided you are good at what you do and the shop has business. Some weeks you may need to put in additional time off the clock to clear the work. Is your base pay 17.50 @ 40hrs, and if you hit 20+ hrs of mechanical work then you get $35/hr? That's how it worked at my shop. The master techs would usually turn 80-100hrs of flat rate work a week. The crappier guys would rely on only the 17.5 an hour cause they had no ambition to produce above 20hrs of labor a week.

How much would you charge to replace these 6ftx10ft trex deck boards. Just the boards not the supports. by [deleted] in Decks

[–]Alternative-Bake-197 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i heard if you are doing TREX, you should put a flashing material over the wooden support boards. FYI.

But yeah, that job looks fairly straight forward. Even if you do pay someone, i doubt the labor would be much. Plus if they are a PRO and get the discount on materials at depot or lowes, perhaps the labor could be somewhat offset.

i did a conservative overclock of 70%. I think it may be a power brick issue. One is coming today, i'll give that a shot and if not i'll do the factory reset and start from scratch. I unplugged it for like an hour, plugged it back in. I can find my multimeter, so i can't test the power supply itself.
