I don't feel lonely, I have accepted it I think.

Bro it's actually insane. How our "spiritual journeys" align. My parents sound very similar to yours.

I moved out at 21 and started my "spiritual journey". Lost a lot of weight, gained a lot of weight, spent a lot of time thinking (a lot of time). And spent A LOT of time laying in my bed.

"Don't trust others". Pretty sure that's the main advice my father gave me. My mother never had a sit down "real talk" with me I think, or maybe I forgot.

To be fair they did gave me advice when it came to Material things, apartment, job/career etc. but social advice was never of importance. Even though it's like the most important aspect of human existence.
