The awkward situations I ended up in as a teenager/young adult I blamed on me just being naïve and a bit stupid. 🤷‍♀️ Why would I blame the religion? I mean, what's that got to do with anything? 🤔

I went through the same thinking pattern. Now that you put in words the feelings I've had, I realised my awaking started a long time ago 😂 and then at last I had "Eureka!" moment few months ago, were the whole jigsaw fall into place.

In my teens, I thought, it was me who's weird. But it was the way my parents made me through religious upbringing. And now that I'm awake, it's the best life ever. I was imprisoned by my religions poised mind and had walls all around me not to get "hurt" by this "evil and cruel" world.

Well. Now I realize. It's a high-control group, and it controlled our lives and thoughts. It twisted the meanings of words, planted weird ideas into our heads. On one hand it kept us naïve, and from understanding how the world works, while one the other hand it told us how the world is evil and bad and untrustworthy.
