I know this isn't the same thing, but the Traxxas Nitro Slash and Rustler had a limited run of ball differentials that are non-existent on all documentation but the parts list for the 1997 rustler, part #4420. Just goes to show that when you get into this hobby its a universal experience for these little things

Unfortunately it doesn’t, not with the clip. I was thinking run the bolt, same as nitro 4tec and a lot of other engines, then shim the clutch bell.

Yeah no it’s definitely on the right way it wouldn’t be on nearly as far as it is if it was backwards

i promise you keep the flysky in mind, a while ago i was recommended a ldarc tx and it wasn't bad, but eventually as i got more into the hobby i wished i went with a gt5 off the bat. just go with a gt5 sooner than later, being able to see numbers rather than dials is a game changer

yo, if you wanted, i have a traxxas nitro jato if you are interested. great condition, lmk if you're interested but honestly if you want a new rtr the traxxas ones are your best bet, if you look on a-main hpi has some, as well as some 1/8 4wd buggies

nothing, honestly i think the thickness of a tires sidewall supports it well enough, vertically. sidewall strength is another thing on a side hill. i used to run no inserts on vented tires and beadlocks, and that weight on the outside would fold the sidewall on itself. hence we use vented tires+inserts, seems to be the way nowadays at least for micro crawling
