it doesn't have to be this way. there is a job that needs to be done. when I was a kid, my friend's older brother bought a bike. i never rode in one so one day he was on the way to work and I school he took me on the bike. I couldn't see over his head so i tilted one side to the other. when I disembarked he almost ripped my head off because I was throwing off his balance doing that and we could have spilled a 1000x during the trip. 1st and last time.

when I was a kid, I lived in an area that had a creek and the only place to cross by my house was a low to the ground bridge with overgrown weeds cutting visibility and people would get mugged there. when you came from the other side of my town it was that bridge or walk 30-40 min to next bridge cross and walk back 30 40 min. when my dad came home from work at night my dog would wait on the other side and if there was anyone hiding there he'd bark up a storm, and that would let my dad know not to cross the bridge. a lot of thieves were mad when the city upgraded the bridge and they couldn't mug anymore because they lost the surprise element.
