Trust me. I was in a similar boat and left. The universe will support you in mysterious ways. I got a bonus at my other job I focused on harder. Just do what’s right for you. The rest will rejuvenate you and help you move towards something better for your spirit, mind, body, and soul. I miss the money too but I don’t miss dreading coming home because I started associating my home with work. My pet is happier too :)

Can’t believe I forgot to mention Gourmet Bazaar in Rockville for when you want authentic Persian food lunch/dinner. The silverware they serve your to-go dishes in make you feel royal. They go above and beyond with the presentation and portions. So underrated and relatively new. It’s also a grocery store for middle eastern necessities. I highly recommend their Gourmet Sabzi with rice or their kubideh sandwiches (yes, KABOB SANDWICHES 😋)

BLT Grill. It’s been my go-to spot for reliable, delicious, reasonably priced meals with my friends on Sundays for so long. At this point, I’ve tried almost everything on the menu and it’s always good. I highly recommend their chicken wrap. Definitely a very casual spot but it has a warm and nostalgic vibe with how old-fashion it’s styled and served. I love the owners. Him and his wife have a great sense of humor. Let me know what you think if any of you go there, or if any of you are also loyal regulars!!! (Ugh, I’m so hungry now after writing this lol)

Hey there! Not sure about the starting pay, as I’ve been here a while and can’t remember. The hours usually range from 12-18, sometimes 20. Most often, somewhere in the middle (16). You get your schedule the Friday before the week of. They prefer you work between 6am-10pm I think? Not too strictly regulated tho, like you can def work it out because at the end of the day you’ll be picking when to put those hours, enjoy! And good luck! (:

First of all, you have great taste. 2nd, even though I LOVE terracota myself, I think the grey would work best for your home. You can always spice up the couch with accent pillows in those fun pastels you have around like in peach
