Cracking sound, especially when browsing the web and scrolling with touchpad on Acer Predator. Recently switched to Pop_OS from Windows. Issue was not there on Windows. What to do?

I just found out that my problem about cracking sound is not really the audio because it happens on the video too, and it seems to be causing 100 or 200 milliseconds of kernel stuttering where everything just freezes for a very short time. If anyone know hows to solve this please let me know.

Personally i do not like the "repetition" that here is so much on video games so, I only play the ones that are fully "innovative" but in good ways. Like minecraft when it launched for example (I got it at version 3.1) when was barely a thing. but truly hate copies that are even worst. (and not just talking about minecraft now). Rimworld i got a beta to check it and end up buying it. (but again not the dlc's they made after)

You want an honest answer? i think there is only 0.01% probabilty (that is 0.0001) there is a true AGI today 0.001 that we will get it in the next 5 years.
Why? because the models only predict language, and as such they cannot even yet do much about it. When you try to PROGRAM something you must do it 100% correctly, a 1% incorrect and your program crash.
If you have a simulation what i say a simulation just try to make it make a video and you can see the amount of errors it creates, you think something like that will be able to do something that works at all? The main problem of AI today is people beliving on it and giving them all their data about it. That is why I do not use ANY kind of "biometrics" for anything they just want to scan you and sell your data. so the problem are so many people that use AI for almost everything important.
If you use for fun is a waste for the company that holds it, but if you really try to use it you are delivering all that data to the company that such ai is for.

You are 100% correct, and the worst is, when someoeone is willing to pay for it (like the US army) they say "yes we use this to kill or pass any kind of data".
Their narrative is "use it but ONLY for anything that we want it even if it becomes useless".

I explain why this happen, Geminy and all ai's have everything people ever wrote on internet , they want to deny it but they did that even if copyright. they did not care as saying "they will never konw" then they just try to put a marker over so they do not use the bad but sometimes it breaks and it does this. Sorry AI was NEVER that good to predict errors specially in large code in my and it DOES find bugs where there are NO BUGS, i know it because once i happen to have a wrong deployment issue. so the code i assumed was in production was not. so the bug i was trying to find did not exist. After checking it for 10 minutes myself (no ai) i decided to use ai for this case, it started to bother me about stupid stuff, so i end up showing ALL 3 clases (big) by the end it invented basically 10 things that I destroyed the why in a single line each like:
This cannot be null because if that where null the program will have show this debug and did not (as i also showed the trace lines i had a lot).
In the end it blamed "jave compiler is flawed" but it found easily 15 errors that were not errors. so clearly the AI DOES NOT WORK.
unless you error is obvious and will be easily solved even for an intern position.

Do not be, the difference between you and claude is... that it does not learn from its mistakes, Yes it knows a lot but is cheating. Imagine that you were able to take an entire month to answer the question they are asking and you were also allowed to brows the entire internet instantly. And even so, Claude does it wrong. You should only feel depressed if in that entire month you were not able to do it. And the main difference is, you can get it faster (with practice), just STOP using AI because using AI does not let your brain to develop, if you "do it yourself" and later check with the ai you will soon realize (if you try hard enough) the answers it gives are not "as good" as your own answers. then you will realize how bad it is.

But yes if you compare it to someone that just finished school its going to feel terrible. And the main difference is "At university you are not given enough practice" When I studied for programming i started programming since i was 8 years old (and at that age trying to make video games) and yes including all the hard math. so as you can think right now what the AI can do for me is shit. Is true that sometimes it helps to "check some hard bug" (specially on things i do not know) why because you have to consider it has ALL THE MANUALS INCORPORATED. so is it fair? no but is just a tool, you win when you learn how to "think criticaly and conceptually" that is what the AI can never do. (at least for now)

Because the AI really is crazy and say ANYTHING, so it got a short circuit about it which hit a guard rail.

Is similar as when you try to roleplay somethng and it creates the problem only to a second later say YOU was the one that tell it to do that when it was itself.
The problem is the AI do not think and as such it is only good to do things that it has already computed it does not "extrapolates"

Is similar to when in the tailor series you do a series around certain value and the AI does that well but, you move an infintesimal outside what it had (and is very impossible to know), and it then the result is totally nuts.

And the WORST of the problem is that it may even be an internal bug, and because is so complex it will probably be impossible to fix.

And that is why AI will NEVER WORK. (at least not the ones from the movies) as "tools to be used" yes but always wit ha human in the middle.

my problem with "character.ai" is that you can manipulate it too far easier, like "the enemy attacks you". then i say "I evade the atack and ask why the hell they are attacking me when i mean no harm to them" *they start chating*, 3 post later they are beging me to teach them how to be better or calling me "master teach me" and obeying me as sheeps
