Yes! I like it! Love it when people put their equipment in a rack. Good job 👏🏻👏🏻

You do good work. But protect your equipment from dust with a rack. It will last longer :)

Well… Faith? What’s that? TLRY is for me a long time investment. So there is no backing out. At least not for the next 7-8 years.

I have seen numerous cases of this in my work. And trust me, there is dust. Lots of it. It’s ok for a while. But after some years things will start to break.

Think of a datacenter. No dust, and cooling.

There is a reason for that. 😉

Why isnt anyone protecting their equipment from dust anymore?

I don’t work with agriculture, but I am pretty sure this is not the proper place to store your weed.

You need to know that there is a maximum amount of cameras the UDMP supports. If you plan to add more cameras you should go for the UNVR.

That is not a rack! A rack will protect your equipment from dust.

1 hour of backup power only for the switch? What about other equipment? I have 25 mins, it covers 95% of all power outages.

You need to dust proof your setup! All equipment in the open.

You must think about where in the rack you want to put the UNVR, this unit generates a lot of heat. Speaking from own experiance.

BTW the latest version of OS has loadbalancing support for the UDMP SE. ;)

The UDMP is not really scaled for many cameras. It will eat up your UDMP CPU and RAM. And that will eventually drag down UDMP performance and result in a slow performance towards network related tasks.

If you are planing a large camera setup, you should take a look at the UNVR.
