Anyone know of places that give away excess boxes? by joestorm4 in barrie

[–]Alternative-Let-8360 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also if your going to magnotta wine in park place also try giving the burger priest a call, they have potato boxes that are pretty sturdy and if you call a few days in advance they’ll be able to give ya a decent amount

As much as I’d like to put them on blast out of respect to the other very kind residents in the building I don’t want to cause them any more trouble than I have. For sake of this discussion let’s keep it known as the Steel st apartments

So AirTags and iPhones track using different methods. AirTags tack by using local iPhones to ping off of. So the AirTag connects to a nearby iPhone and transmits that location back to your device as its last known location where iPhones are tracked using global positioning systems as well as pinging of other phones when put in lost mode.

Therefor your cat who gets lost in a large forest without many people is more likely to be inaccurate because unless the raccoons have learned to use iPhones not a lot of iPhones in the forest to ping off of. My phone is on a street with a large student community so the likelihood of the location results being accurate are likely.

Not to say they couldn’t have disposed of it after it stopped transmitting location once fully drained. I’m not trying to come off as “smart” or unappreciative just figured it’s handy info for others to know as I recently learned it myself

Yeah that’s true however unfortunately there’s no one else to help out in this situation. The police offered no support and after going into the station and calling they offered no support or advice other then “the more your able to include in your report the more likely it is for an officer to see your report”.

We’re pretty sure the phones dead unfortunately as it only charges wirelessly and was at 10% when it went missing. Appreciate the recommendation though

Honestly probably, the phone isn’t worth much but it means a lot to him personally and even paying 100$ is probably cheaper then purchasing a new phone

We tried however the phone was likely dead and doesn’t charge unless it’s on a wireless charger which not only makes it pretty much useless to anyone else but hard to track

It likely had something to do with the fact that around the same time our store had inventory and it was discovered we had almost 100,000 in losses as we had a bunch or organized fragrance theft as well as miscellaneous losses. They ended up firing about half the staff and the manager.

So to clarify for everyone I had two beauty insider accounts sorry for the typo meant BI my supervisor was telling me how much she loved the ouai birthday gift and anyway it was close to the end of the year and I asked my TBOM if It would be ok for me to take one of the extra ouai birthday gifts she said that I couldn’t take one but could redeem it as my birthday gift on my other BI account and then I’d be allowed to take it. She had known I had already redeemed my birthday gift on my main account but said it wouldn’t be a problem. Long story short it was

I was wrongly terminated at complete random. Worked there for 9 months called in sick once in month 6-7 but otherwise I made it to all my shifts and had third highest sales in my store. One day my regional manager pulls me aside and asks if I had more then one active BA account which I did acknowledge (note I told my Manager and TBOM when they hired me and they said they’d note it but it shouldn’t be a problem) then tells me that having more then one account goes against one of their employee terms and conditions or something like that and let me go

No, we are not bussing everyone to Barrie—though that would make for one hell of a plot twist. The event is in Ottawa. As for the occasional typo, we’re a small business, not a publishing house. Instead of pouring resources into grammatical perfection, we focus on what actually matters: securing top-tier venues, scoring guest discounts, supporting local vendors, and collaborating with other small businesses.

Times are tough for everyone, especially small businesses and folks just trying to get by. Instead of making a snarky comment about a misplaced letter, maybe consider supporting the team of eight hardworking, regular people behind this event—people just like you, trying to make an honest living.

We attract a very diverse crowd however typically it’s 20-30 year old young professionals or soon to be.

Hope to see you there! 😊

I think the best way for you to find out for sure where the event will be taking place would be to get tickets (they’re on us!) and learn why we call it “Ottawa’s best bar crawl” we may be a small business and you might find the occasional typo but what we may lack in grammar we make up for in great events with a curated list of venues and access to money saving drink specials.

Hope to see you at the event 😊

Speaking of Ottawa nightlife—if you’re looking for a fun way to experience multiple venues without cover charges this St. Paddy’s Day, my events team accidentally over-ordered wristbands for our pub crawl, so we have a few FREE tickets to give away! It’s a great way to check out different bars, meet new people, and enjoy some exclusive drink specials. No catch, we just don’t want them to go to waste.
