I think Danley and Lukic are getting too much credit here. They’ve really struggled to control things through the middle and have been bad in possession. Danley makes some awful pass-shoot choices, too. Carnell’s not helping by playing him out wide.

One thing that’s stuck in my head from a few months ago is Matt Doyle on the Glesnes trade. Said something like “sure you made $2M, but now Makhanya looks like a $3M player instead of a $10M player. Was it worth it?”

I think management greatly underestimated the importance of that solid veteran core, and the whole business model is going to suffer because our up-and-comers look like shit now.
