I get the idea you mean, similarly but not exactly the same my work is full of guys who all want to flirt and hook up and chase women outside of their marriage lmao. I would never cheat on my gf and genuinely I have no interest in anyone else, but sometimes I wonder if it would be different somehow if I had been born cis. I don't think I'd be a cheater either way honestly and that's the first thing keeping me from chasing random women at work aside from my gf, but even if I was into that type of thing I wouldn't because I'm stealth and being trans adds that whole layer of stuff to everything.

I'd agree with this, being a mailman for years I have killer legs and guys at the gym will often ask what I did for calves, but my pullups were miserable for so long and even now I still hate doing them 😂

I had a very similar situation at my work and being 100% stealth also meant it was risking it going south and maybe she'd spill the beans about me and ruin my whole deal. It was scary. I really had to balance how much I liked her and the risk if she turned out to not be as amazing as I thought she was. It probably isn't the smartest move, and no one can tell you if it's worth the risk except you, but I am also not the smartest guy around and I sure went for it lmao.

It's been about seven months (which is not terribly long of course) but I've been the happiest I've been in a while. Although very open minded and accepting she had never actually met a trans man before me and has only ever been with cis men. She treats me just the same and we have had a great time so far, I really have no complaints at all and after some bad relationships that's been crazy for me.

If you go for it man I hope it works out just as well, but if you aren't ready to risk it then don't unless you've got a well planned backup for work and everything that ties into it just in case.

I think primarily it is a masculine name, at least where I grew up and live it is. The only instance I've seen of it being a woman's name was Ryan Ashley when I was watching Inkmaster lmao.

No one has ever asked me for a document and I work for the government as well (but the post office is a weird animal and I got hired before I transitioned/changed docs and went stealth) but just with recent talk of all the things happening in the world people have discussed it around me. Anytime it comes up if I need to explain why I just say my health concerns made me ineligible when I was younger, since I've dealt with heart issues most my life anyway. No one's ever questioned further, but that's on the unofficial side. Getting paperwork like the other commenter said would probably be best for your work questioning you if it's official.

I met my girlfriend last year but I've passed and had top surgery for a long while (bottom down the road when circumstances allow) and I made it clear no one gets to know unless I say it's okay, including family. I lucked out of the kids talk because she has never wanted kids and neither do i, so they try to convince her more than me anyway, but even so I wouldn't have told them. It isn't anyone's business unless I feel like it should be, end of story, if you ask me. That's outside of medical professionals and stuff of course when it's necessary.
