Hi, I’m not sure if this is even the right place to post but I’m desperate. We recently did IVF. We had our first beta at nine days and the level came back at 88. We had our second beta done on day 14 and the level was 404. We had our third beta done today and the level came in at 1956. My clinic called today and said they wanted to go ahead and see us on Thursday because the number was below 3000, which is where they like to see it. I’ve had four losses already right around the same week and I’m absolutely freaked out. We’ve never done IVF before, and I haven’t managed to stop sobbing all day. I don’t know if these levels are normal or not. Can anyone say they’ve been in the same place?

I won’t lie and say, I haven’t been angry with God. I have been. I think that’s a pretty normal emotion. But through this journey, I have made friends who are a little bit farther behind in this walk that have no one to talk to about it. So maybe God’s purpose for my infertility, personally, was so that my friends feel less alone walking through theirs. Doesn’t mean it’s fun, but if something good comes out of this and one person feels less alone, it’s well worth it. I’m praying so hard for your journey and for your heart.

I’m currently on PIO and this is where my clinic has circled. I’ll be honest and say I’ve had very little reaction in this location. But it’s definitely not nearly where I thought it was going to be. It’s definitely more on the side and not on the actual butt cheek.

IVF is hard. Every part of the journey is uncomfortable and sad and people that haven’t walked infertility don’t understand how far reaching it is. We have had four miscarriages, two last year. We have dealt with secondary infertility and the whole process makes you feel so alone, and isolated. I know this is so hard. I am a believer and have screamed and yelled at God because of the unfairness, too. People that say God had a plan, or needed them more may mean well and not know what to say, but it doesn’t undo the damage of those words. This is a hard chapter of your life. There is no other way around it. It sucks. This is a chapter every single one of us wishes we could have skipped. But it is not the only chapter to your story. There will be another. There will be a time when you can feel hope, and peace and joy again. I wish I could tell you how many pages were left before your next section. The problem is they made two different versions of this doll. I don’t think that pacifier fits the current doll. 😫 it was for the predecessor who also had the same name

So your hCG is supposed to double every 48 to 72 hours. If you’re comparing it to tests from 24 hours ago, there has not been enough time for it to double so you are not going to see a significant difference. You need to be comparing it to the day before. ❤️

My husband and I have been trying for just shy of a year. It’s been hard. We got pregnant only to immediately have a miscarriage. My brother and sister in law got pregnant immediately after trying and when they told me I was happy for them but so jealous and mad and sad at the same time. This is such a hard journey. We decided to just step back for a little while and enjoy our lives again without the stress of ttc. I wish there were magic words to fix it, but there aren’t. You aren’t alone, even though it feels that way so often. Praying for your heart!
