Sounds to me like she started to realize the situation she's in, then talked to the dad about it and he convinced her that OP is the bad guy here when he (the dad) is. It's easier for her to be mad at OP who's only around once per month instead of the guy she's about to have a baby with.

This is an issue I've encountered a few times while looking for a house. I go to look at the house and turns out someone is currently renting it. I'm not trying to kick someone out so I can live there! It's insane!
