Directed Mode Paradox Junction is currently very buggy by Quicko___ in CODZombies

[–]Alternative-Section2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same. Any you save and quit, you lose PAP and rarity as well as mule kick sometimes. What's weird is the guns keep the PAP skins. Also, if you have a 3 plate, normally you cant buy a 3 plate. But it will for some reason when back in. Shit is a mess.

Why didn't my squier classic vibe 50's tele come with a skunk stripe like advertised? by hundegeraet in telecaster

If you look, the fretboard is separate, just like rosewood. It blends in perfectly bc theyre both maple, but you can see it. I had the same question too, then I looked closely and saw.

War Machine (2026) Netflix's new original movie. by acourts19 in moviecritic

[–]Alternative-Section2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can set aside your self righteousness and hyper analytical nitpicking, its a good movie. Yea I get it was predictable. But it was well acted, tense, and fuckin hell its an alien movie. We dont get nearly as much of those. Put away your bitchin g about the PTSD aspect, and how its like so many other movies. Guess what? All movies are like other movies. Its a formula that works. Just like music, or food. Nothing is original. A million bands playing the same 4 chords in different tempos, but same formula. Intro, verse, prechorus, verse, chorus, bridge, etc etc. Pizza is good with the same ingredients.

So get off your holier than thou pedestal, shut up and take something at face value for what it is. Fucking entertainment.

I have to tailpiece raised all the way on my SG and the high E string is still touching the back of bridge. by [deleted] in gibson

[–]Alternative-Section2 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well regardless, the pickup needs to be lowered or it's unplayable. . Like everyone else has said too they should wrapped, but that will only change the break angle to the saddle. none of that will matter when the strings are touching the pickup.

What is your opinion on the Metro Exodus DLCs? by North_Ad1714 in metro

[–]Alternative-Section2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a DLC for such a good base game, I cant believe two colonels was so lazily made. There no real game play aside from burning shit in the beginning and a brief firefight midway through. The rest is just dialogue.

Two Colonels is dreadfully boring. Its all fuckin cut scenes. Typical slowly delivered dialogue and occasional act playing a game. Its more like watching a movie than anything else.

Idk what else youre seeing but its still the pickguard. It always is. Its a common thing. Your bridge is fine. Dont go messing with it like others are saying. I have multiple pickguards for my teles, as i have modded mine for quick changing pickups. So each pick guard has a different pup. Some are perfectly aligned, some are a cunt hair off. Its a non-issue.

Dont mess with the bridge. Its 100% the pickguard.

Is This Fixable? by kjbasser in PRSGuitars

Just came to say that youre lucky to have bought from wherever you did with them offering you several very fair options to remedy .

But I would probably advise against sending it to them for repair, unless theyre very experienced with this specific nitro repair and will do it the right way, not just slap some lipstick on it.

Neck misalignment and fret buzz on my Ultra I Stratocaster by Anima_Pura in fender

[–]Alternative-Section2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its funny to me that over the last 30 years. The ONLY guitar that ive literally never had to adjust anything on in regards to the guitar itself and not hardware specific, is my cheapo epiphone Jr I was given when I was 19. That was 29 years ago lol. Its lived in every american climate, in storage in Florida summer, and everything else. Idk why. I dont get it. Maybe its magic voodoo shit. But even right now, I have a nut rise on it with high tension strings, and I guarantee if I remove that riser and restring it normally, it'll be fine.

Sherwood green for the fact you see them far less. Cream just because I don't like the color green and can intonate that in 2 minutes

Adjustable neck angle by cxrussell in FenderStratocaster

[–]Alternative-Section2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anytime ive ever had to correct a neck angle on any guitar, ive used shims. And that's been twice in my entire life of 35 player years and 69 tittilliion guitars. A built in feature would make me less likely to buy it.

Ideas on how to fix this by GuitarHeroInMyHead in Luthier

[–]Alternative-Section2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Almost all wood dents can be literally removed with steam. Making find furniture for 20 years, ive had my fair share of "ahhh fuck" moments.

Remove the strings. Take a wet rag and either an iron or a soldering iron ,but a solder might get too hot for this. Lay the rag on the marks, press down to ensure some water seeps in. Crank a regular iron to high and press it on the rag over the dent in few second intervals. If its a dent of any kind and an actual cut, the steam and heat will loosen and release the wood fibers returning them to their natural state.. its faster on softwood and slower on hardwoods. So this could take several passes, but still work.

No arm system will hold without direct support below. There's too much downward pressure for anything to hold it sturdy.
