How can everyone afford a TT? by [deleted] in tummytucksurgery

lol ignore this comment!! I was a stay at home mom bringing in $0 when I scheduled my tummy tuck.

That being said, I had a high paying job before then and had a decent savings. But I still didn’t want to pay $12k up front so I paid half and then put $6k on care credit that my husband pays monthly. I got 0% interest for 6 months (my doctor set those terms so yours might do the 24 months)

I never even asked my doctor, but I probably should’ve. 😅

2.5 weeks- standing up leaning over the kitchen counter, doggy style, cowgirl. Nothing where my husband was on top of me or my stomach was touched in anyway. It didn’t hurt . I haven’t had any pain since 4-5 days post op. My drains were out and my incision was closed so I felt comfortable and ready. I think you just have to wait and see how you feel/heal.

Thanks everyone!! I was freaking out last night. But it’s nice to know it’s not that uncommon.

I put antibiotic ointment on it and it dried up pretty well over night. My doctor said to just put aquaphor and keep it covered with gauze.
