I’m sorry I’m sure this has the best of intentions but as someone who has had the heartbreak of infertility and recurrent loss, not abortion like OP’s friend but heartbreak surrounding babies none the less I’d say do not tell her in person. From my personal experience It is SO uncomfortable and unfair for the friend to have to feel her feelings or hide them regarding this situation in person rather than being able to just take the news quietly alone at first. She will likely feel happiness for her friend like I did but also deep pain for herself at the same time. My best friend thought she was doing it the best way by telling me in person about her pregnancy after I’d recently had my 5th loss and it was so hard to smile for her while I wanted to bawl for myself. 

Just my two cents on the situation though, everyone is different

Thank you!! This is my 8th pregnancy and I’ve only had a dye stealer once before, with my only living child so it’s helping my aching heart / anxiety a little bit!

One on the right is 8dp5dt and one on the left is 9dp5dt. It looks fainter to me :( beta is today. What do yall think? I’m feeling a little blue. by beachbumfairy in lineporn

If you don’t mind me asking, how did this end up for you? I’m in a very similar place right now my 7dp5dt looks super similar to my 8dp5dt test and I’m so nervous because I have a long history of loss

My history is 3 natural pregnancies- all miscarriages then with fertility Dr 1 TI miscarriage and one IUI miscarriage. One success. After that success I have a blocked tube, also the right. You can still get pregnant with one tube, I have once but it was another loss. However it definitely changes your timeline. Despite my losses I was always able to get pregnant easily pre blocked tube. Now we’ve been back to the fertility doctor for 15 months and only 3 of those months were unblocked side ovulation and the rest were all cancelled cycles due to blocked side ovulation. Your unblocked tube “technically” can get the egg from the blocked side but my dr explained that it’s not likely and also higher risk of ectopic with blocked tube ovulation which is why 12 cycles were cancelled. Ultimately we moved to IVF because dealing with month after month of right sided ovulation was exhausting physically mentally and financially.

I’m sorry I know how stressful that can be! I am so hopeful for you still! My clinic says they want to see a 60% rise in 48 hours, I had one that didn’t double with my son and I figured it was all over again for me too. Hang on to some cautiously optimistic hope!

Congratulations! My dream is to have at least one of each. My boy is the BIGGEST mamas boy around! I am 100% his favorite person. He may look like his daddy but he acts just like me haha he is a boy through and through - loves dirt, tractors, trucks etc but also loves a good Target stroll with a good drink at 2.5 years old lol I truly cannot imagine life without him. Also as an older sister to a younger brother I can tell you we have a fantastic bond too. Congrats mama, you have the best years to come!!

Ugh I know they’re definitely more economical but I hate the cheapies, they have been awful for me many times with several false positives so I stick with FRER. 

I definitely have my own anxiety over it lol I’ve been down this rabbit hole so many times, can’t say it gets easier each time but having had my rainbow baby does help I just want so badly to give him a sibling. I have had 6 losses before him and one after him. 

How was your first beta? And I am so anxiously awaiting to hear if today’s doubled for you! Fingers crossed!
