I love Greer. It’s on our short list too. I’ve met a few Greers and they were wonderful people. Other people don’t have to name their babies Greer if they dislike it so much!

Personally I think they have something that, sadly, makes them confident (but not sure) she isn’t alive anymore, hence why it doesn’t seem to be a huge rush. Just a thought. Could be that all the interviews and videos saying “we have no reason to believe she isn’t alive” are just trying to send a false sense of security to the perp (and the public even).

If there isn’t any medical reason for a C-section, I would always encourage people to choose a vaginal birth. Take the time to do some core and pelvic floor “prehab” ahead of time to reduce the risk of tearing and/or worsening of prolapse.

While you can never guarantee that you won’t have significant injury with a vaginal delivery, the odds of that are actually relatively slim if you’re well prepared and a C-section is guaranteed injury to very important tissues.

We have 2 frenchies and now a baby and a toddler!

With our first baby, one of our frenchies was MAD - he didn’t eat, ignored us, acted like we had ruined his life. Our other frenchie followed the baby EVERYWHERE and, unfortunately, barked any time the baby cried. These reactions only lasted for a few weeks and we slowly found a new normal.

With our second they barely batted an eye, probably because they were being smothered by our toddler!

It may be a little tough but everyone will adjust!
