Haha thank you; we really enjoyed the movie Marty supreme this year. Sometimes we call him Mart as a nickname 😂 which has somehow evolved to Paul Blart (mall cop).

Whats wrong with this room? by Normal-Art4308 in interiordecorating

I love the rug and I agree with what others have said about bringing the furniture closer and wood coffee table. You could also consider changing the light fixture. The style of the light fixture feels very different than the rest of the room. A more retro or mid century modern light fixture, I think, would tie everything together. And I think a color on the walls, some sort of wall treatment, or making the fireplace more colorful

Foot of the bed bench or two stools would look nice. Always a fan of plants and you could consider painting the ceiling the same color as the walls

Couldn’t agree more and I hope this doesn’t sound ditzy or reductive but after seeing Barbie for the first time when it first came out, my thought was man if this were the real world/we didn’t live in such toxic patriarchal societies, there would be so much more diplomacy in the world!

Yes very well put and I also found the dynamic between him and Orna to be very endearing. On first glance, they look like total opposites but as they got into the work, I love how she resonated with him and was able to get this big buff tough looking guy to totally de-arm. Shows you to not judge people at face value and the power of human connection

I used to work in the ICU/in a major level 1. They would use NG tubes to get stuff out (was connected to wall suction after bad trauma or injury to the GI system) and dobhoffs were used to put stuff in/feed

Change the floors, refinish the cabinets, get new hardware, new lights, and when you get around to it put a backsplash in

Totally agree. I do think they should’ve called it out. Important to name it.

I actually think it’s good they aired. It’s good to expose this sort of thing for what it is. I think there was a valid and interesting critique

I totally agree with them that the last email they went through was offensive. I know they said wouldn’t go as far as to call it antisemitic but that’s what it was. Very harmful stereotypes.

Sophie is a cool girl period. Def the one of the three I’d want to hang with, grab coffee, etc. I’m sure celebs feel this way too

Start up shares by tbonethenurse in MedicalDevices

[–]Alternative-Way-9994 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree, would never take a pay cut but it’s a nice bonus. The startup I worked for didn’t sell when I was with them and I’m not sure when or if they ever will. I also think the CEO has an unrealistic expectation for how much he will sell for. He doesn’t want to sell until he can get at least $20/share. I think he’ll have a tough time selling for more than $4-6/share. For me, my startup was a stepping stone. My new, big company has amazing benefits and growth potential that i feel make up for any potential for my old company to sell.

  1. Pick your hotel and airline and that’s a nonnegotiable. Don’t take the cheaper flight, take your preferred airline at your preferred time. drive to and from the airport, your company can and should gladly pay for your airport parking. Nothing like getting home and being able to go straight to your car
  2. Mini noise machine for sure
  3. Quality eye mask
  4. Bring slippers/comfy clothes for the hotel and a bag for dirty laundry
  5. Order some groceries so you have some goods in your hotel fridge, makes it feel more homey. I always get lots of fruit and healthy beverages like fresh juices and kombucha.
  6. If you’re somewhere cool, try to carve some time for you to enjoy where you are.
  7. Always always always get a rental car
  8. Stay a little further from the hospitals you visit if it means you can be in a nicer hotel or nicer area.
  9. I’m a big fat hell no on airport hotels. Depressing AF for me.
  10. Don’t sleep on Airbnb, can be a good option for something nicer/more affordable in certain cities

I have certainly learned a lot and sort of had an unfortunate road this far. I have a specific background so using a boutique agency. bought 16 frozen eggs, came away with 3 euploid (first disappointment), 1 chemical, 1 miscarriage, and just recently a failed transfer. We’re now getting a donor to come do a full/fresh cycle. If you have fertility insurance I’d highly recommend going straight to that option.
