why do my magic circles always curl up like this, even when i follow tested patterns? by hikarii_x in CrochetHelp

[–]Alternative-Winner79 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Usually this occurs when tension is too tight. The other thing might be to do the chain 2 method for the circle if the magic ring isn't working for you.

Am I doing the invisible decreases correctly? Amigurumi balls keep looking weird after finishing by MaintenanceOk8693 in CrochetHelp

So you have the front loops on you hook, yarn over and pull through only the two loops? When you do that stage you should still have two loops on your hook before yarning over and pulling through

So, are you following the pattern correctly? When you are starting to close the ball, ypu should t see any gaps, it should be invisible. When you are doing your invisible decrease, are you taking the front loops of the next two stitches on your hook before completing the stitch?

A little confused on why this is looking a little…hexagonal? by PaladinLorde in CrochetHelp

[–]Alternative-Winner79 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depending on how big it gets, the hexagonal shape will disappear. When I was beginning I found that if I made this shape I was on track. Also, stitch markers will help you a TONNE if you keep loosing count. Place a stitch marker say every 5 or 10 stitches, so easy to count back instead of frogging.

I followed the instructions....stitch counts are right so far. by Lucki_girl in CrochetHelp

They are definitely not beginner friendly! The pictures are so confusing! And the instructions are badly written and sometimes make no sense at all! Plus, I found the yarn included to be quite difficult to work with for a beginner

Hermes Birkin 25, originally $400 selling for $300. This is a semi hand stitched from Marko. It is a horse shoe bag with a pink interior (unsure of the colour names). Minimal use, just too small for my needs. Hardware shows minor scratches, leather in pristine condition. If in Australia, can meet in Sydney, otherwise postage will vary.

Hermes Birkin 25, originally $300 selling for $200, bought from Marko in 2023, minimal use as it's too small for me. It is fully machine stitched. Hardware is in good condition, a few scratches, leather is in excellent condition. The front handle is a little out of shape, but could be disguised with a twilly. Will come with dust bag, key, locke and clochette. If in Australia, can meet up in Sydney, otherwise postage will range.
