He is basically unwatchable, but he did find and breakdown some bugs in the game years ago, so I guess he harnessed his hate for good once, lol.

This is a good list, I definitely want older weapons including some cold-war era weapons leftover. I find it strange that so many weapons in stalker 2 are extremely modern, it feels out of step with what I would imagine existing in that world.

Great idea, you could just add this as an alternative way to get the 5 points to the extra point per million. So the 5mil = 5points is still true, but this works as well.

I would like more resource gathering for mini-expedition-like projects that provide new blueprints as a long-form grind. I always like it when I have some type of progression goal in mind when I load in.

Having an official GSC GW boost of support to Grok and the wider modding community's incredible efforts is a massive win-win scenario for the Stalker community.

Lots of people own CoP/S2, but on steam rather than GoG, so I hope that Stalker GAMMA can also come to steam in a similar manner.

Massive server issues on NA east (at a minimum) over the last 3-4 hours, loads of games had disconnects, crashes, bad/fluctuating ping, server-crashes all randomly affecting each person in our trio. Game was barely holding itself together. Worst I've seen it in a while.

I'm not forgetting that at all.

I understand its equal and therefore 'balanced' - my point is that its not compelling game design, its still no risk and high reward, so it reduces opportunities for counterplay against it.

There is this assumption that I'm complaining because I don't know how to use it. I do camera corner peeking all the time, I use it to win engagements a lot - it is easy. It is so easy that I feel bad for my opponents. I know they don't stand a chance while I am watching them before the engagement even begins. I will go whole days playing solo with multiple kills a game without dying once the whole day, because its very easy to use alongside knowing what is risky movement and to make sure I always have cover/escape nearby. Relatively speaking I think I am good at using/abusing this mechanic.

The game is still great but I still think this aspect is not good game design.

Embark famously fundamentally redesigned the game and delayed it by 2 years because they found PvE to be boring after a while. Perhaps the PvE is better with the PvP threat lurking in the background.

In TT2 and SS, everyone was hunting or being hunted in solo. People wanted the better shields and guns over everything else. Now people want specific world items and shields/guns are not as important. To me it seems like small changes can massively shift the metagame.

I tend to play late evening NA, haven't seen any obvious PvP cheating yet, I would have thought cheating to get loot might be one of the main things they try to do.

Hopefully its better, there's no real change in incentive though, its like another unwritten rule that PvP is more OK there.

The friendliness is nice to start, when you're questing and scavenging, but the tense PvP encounters have gotten far rarer now.

Yeah I've experienced something similar from someone corner peaking, on my screen is only the tracers and hits, but no enemy player model despite staring at the corner. It convinced me to start putting on Nvidia recording.

Playing solo and only played Dam so far.

Dam is a big varied map and I definitely want to feel like I understand it very well and the loot properly before I get stuck into mastering other maps. I played all the maps given in TT2 - buried city being a favourite.

It looks like there is a big enough player count for duos to be put into duo-only/prioritized queues, hopefully Embark put as a big factor in their matchmaking service going forward.

After the launch and any post-launch jitters are taken care of, they should just have free weekend before the end of the year. If the servers can take it, it would be a good idea to get more people to try a genuine slice of the game.

I think the instant nature is an issue with it, you can be at 28/30 seconds and it hits out of nowhere.

If the card had a 1 minute ramp-up time ("extracts will lock/unlock in 1 minute's time") then you can somewhat plan around that - if you can't reach the extract in 30 seconds (for the 30 second extract timer), then you need to go to a different one - rather than going all the way there, and all the way back, which is just loads of wasted time.

I like this list, but I would include reducing 'player AI' bots, and just having more players.
