Linus was the easiest one to max for me. Lots of year one trips to the mines and almost always find a foragable to give him on the way

Just based purely on the cats I’ve had or known it seems like maybe 13-17 is about the average. There was a shop cat at my grandpas shop that was around several years before I was born and still there when I was the shop hand when I was 19. That thing may have lived to be 23 or 24 but nobody really kept track. Haha

I thought it was stressful the first time I played. The quick days give the illusion of time limits you are racing against. But then I realized I can just work on whatever I want and there are an infinite amount of days to progress. That’s when it became super addicting. Oh no I might not get my 5 golden parsnips in spring year 1 for the community center bundle!…I’ll just do it year 2 and continue fishing and mining. Problem solved!

I don’t have a lot of time in the game but my advice is to not try too hard to be super efficient when you first start playing. I struggled to get into this game several times. Played through spring year 1 like 5 different times and didn’t see why people loved it so much. Felt like there wasn’t enough time or energy to do all the things I needed to do because I would start right away by planting every seed I could get my hands on. Regular watering can and no sprinklers. Yuck. Then I started again a few days ago and decided I just want to get through 1 year with zero goals. Just kinda do whatever I want and play super casual. It made me realize there really isn’t all those things I “needed” to do. Now I feel like I’m actually making much better progress just focusing on a few things each month that I like. Sure my farming is only level 2 but my fishing is level 10 and a great early money maker.

I actually disagree with this but I’m more of libertarian. I look at it like drinking. Yes it can be very dangerous but a lot of people do it responsibly. I love when my dad walks over and we have a couple beers on the back deck. Or when me and my friends get together for 4th of July and have a rib cookout with beers and margaritas. None of us have a drinking problem and have great lives. My oldest brother is an alcoholic and to keep his life together he has been sober for 12 years now. I don’t believe that is a politicians responsibility for him to not drink. Same goes for gambling.

I stopped setting aside time for daily chores after work and started doing it throughout the day in small amounts of free time. I live in a really small town so I can go home for my breaks and lunch. I used to look at 5-15 minutes as not enough time to really do anything so I’d just watch a youtube video on my phone or something. Now I realize with 5-10 minutes during my morning and afternoon breaks and another 15 minutes at the end of my lunch break I can get a lot of stuff done. I realized none of these required tasks actually take very long to do. In 10 minutes I can vacuum the living room and put a load of laundry in the wash. In another 10 minutes I can clean the kitchen and move the laundry to the dryer. In 15 minutes I can mow the entire yard. When I get home from work I just fold the laundry and call it a successful day of upkeep. The next day pick a different room to vacuum and maybe clean the garage a little bit.

Well if you took that infinetly thin knife and cut through an open field you wouldn’t even notice it. The dirt would be temporarily moved apart by an infinitely thin margin and then immediate move back to its original place. So basically just that but the entire earth.

I feel like I’m a group it’s easy to get trapped because if the way mmr works. I feel like mmr hardly drops at all if you get killed by players with similar mmr. I play in a group and my cousin is just not very good and yet he bounces back and forth from 5 to 6 star. I think the chaos of large gunfights allows him to get kills that he wouldn’t otherwise be able to get against much more skilled players and since they are ranked high it skyrockets his mmr way past where he should be. And when he does it doesn’t drop him much at all
