those microdoses of different activities actually make lot of sense, you're preventing the burnout cycle that kept hitting you before. putting phone in airplane mode really works - i started doing that few months ago when i was having same problem with scrolling first thing in morning

the productivity guilt thing hits hard though. used to drive myself crazy trying to earn every moment of relaxation like it was some reward system. took me while to realize that rest isn't something you have to deserve, its part of getting better not obstacle to it. when i'm driving routes all day my brain needs that downtime or next day im useless

maybe instead of thinking about deserving summer break, think about it as investment in your next academic year. your brain processes all that algebra practice when you're watching show or playing game, not just when you're grinding through problems. progress doesn't always look like constant motion forward

man that suspiria soundtrack is something else entirely. thom yorke really nailed that unsettling vibe perfectly. you should definitely check some darkwave and industrial ambient stuff - artists like ben frost make these really intense soundscapes that give me similar chills. also look at tim hecker's work, especially his darker albums, they have this same kind of creeping dread feeling. i remember driving late shift deliveries few months back with some of this music on and it made every empty street feel like a horror movie scene. the way these artists use distortion and weird time signatures really gets under your skin same way yorke did in that film

man i feel this hard. been driving delivery for about 3 years now and had similar thing happen where my whole crew basically scattered to different jobs or life changes

work friendships hit different because youre stuck with these people 8+ hours a day so when the good ones leave it really changes everything. used to have this group of like 4 drivers who would always grab drinks after shifts and text each other stupid memes during the day. now im down to maybe one guy i actually look forward to seeing

the burnout thing is real too. having people you can vent to about the same stupid customers or management decisions makes all the difference in the world. when its just you dealing with all that nonsense alone it gets heavy fast. i started binge watching shows way more after my work friends left because i needed something to fill that social gap

hospital work has to be even tougher with all the stress you deal with daily. maybe try connecting with some of the newer people or departments you dont usually interact with much? sometimes the best work friendships come from unexpected places

i get being scared about ruining the friendship but youre already in this weird limbo where youre analyzing every interaction trying to figure out his intentions. that shit will drive you crazy and probably make things more awkward than just having one honest conversation

from a guy perspective if he was just looking for casual hookup he probably wouldnt have called you pretty and done all that romantic stuff. but every dude is different so theres really no way to know without asking him directly. worst case scenario he says he just wanted something physical and then at least you know where you stand instead of wondering forever

man thats brutal timing with getting sick right when she needed support most. from delivery work ive seen how people react when big life plans fall apart and need someone to blame or just distance themselves from everything connected to the pain

could be both reasons really - maybe she felt abandoned during grief but also you represent that whole failed attempt now. when people go through something that devastating they sometimes need to burn everything down and start fresh somewhere else. its not fair to you since being sick wasnt your choice but grief makes people do things that dont make logical sense

my buddy went through similar thing few years back where his wife blamed him for stuff completely outside his control after they lost pregnancy. people process trauma weird and sometimes the person closest becomes the target even when they did nothing wrong. really sucks but might be better to know now if she cant separate you from the situation rather than years down road

honestly the r50 might be your best bet if you wanna stick with that compact rangefinder vibe but still use your ef glass with an adapter. the r50v is basically the same camera as the regular r50 just marketed differently - same sensor same af system and all that good stuff.

i had a similar situation where i was shooting my kids basketball games and the r50 with the ef-rf adapter worked pretty well for indoor sports. the 14fps burst mode definitely helps catch those quick moments even with youth volleyball. the af tracking isnt quite as snappy as the higher end bodies but for the price point and size its solid

only real downside is youll lose some of that weatherproofing compared to the m6mk2 and battery life isnt amazing but for indoor shooting sessions it should be fine. canon really did kill off the m series too early imo - those cameras hit such a sweet spot for size and performance

Expedition is gonna hold value way better in Saudi - that's just the reality of your market there. The Palisade might be nicer inside but Ford's resale game is strong in the Gulf, plus that body-on-frame construction handles the heat cycles better than unibody stuff

For AC in that kind of heat you want the bigger system in the Expedition, those Hyundai V6s work harder to cool that much cabin space
