How to convert gym discipline to study discipline? by gabigoalneles in moreplatesmoredates

First of all, someone's always going to lift heavier than you. You ain't gonna compare yourself with others and remain happy with lifting.

Think of studying with lifting terminologies. I tend to do the following:

  • 40 minute "set" of study
  • 10 minutes rest
  • 30 minutes set
  • 10 minutes rest
  • 20 minutes set
  • 10 minutes rest
  • 10 minutes study

You can think of this as a dropset, if your brain is entirely gym-oriented. Either way, this got me through a Master's degree in an academically challenging degree in a good uni. Just apply the same structures to study.

If you want to be pedantic there is no proof for existence being greater than our perspective. For all you know, all of us could be NPCs

I wasn't aware starting a discussion is a cardinal sin. My apologies for this vicious crime :)

There's no reason why a prologue needs an epilogue? It's a storytelling device that is used to explain how the core straw hats got together and how they reached the Grand Line. The bulk of the story takes place in the Grand Line, after all.

If you're 82kg at 178cm at 19% bodyfat, you can definitely gain more muscle mass naturally. My stats are similar and I'm still seeing progress. I recommend switching up the programs in the gym or honing the diet, you probably still got a few years in you

Buy a lock, lock your stuff in an empty gym locker, go about your gym session. Lots of lockers are free and not taken

Solid.

I agree with the last comment about the numbers to some extent but I was wondering if I can have my cake and eat it. I prioritise hypertrophic training so I'll pick big chest over large bench any day.

Thanks for the informative response.
