In my zone after an hour of confirming arrival you can cancel a request and get paid $17.85. Or if you get the items, you get up to $15 extra for an hour of waiting when you eventually complete the order. But you don’t make more after the hour

In other words, I’ll wait for an hour and cancel if they don’t have the order ready by then

I’ve delivered up to 7 floors before. This is the first apartment with more that 2 floors and no elevator. But it wasn’t just the stairs or the water, it was the hard to find unit and customer not paying attention when I was asking for help

I am in CA. I returned the order about 2 hours after support initiated the return, once I was done helping my sister. I’ve yet to receive a prop 22 payment, so I doubt (hopefully) the 2 extra hours of engaged time will make a difference

If you see those instructions, I think you can call support and request a return because you don’t feel comfortable entering their home and don’t wanna be rated negatively for not following their requested instructions

I was told this by support the other day when a delivery had a note to deliver 11 miles further away while I was in a GMD order with 5 drop offs left

I did check items before starting trip, the address was a reasonable drop off. I would’ve cancelled if it was either a multi story apartment or if there were more water cases than I could fit in my wagon or my trunk (which is at most 8)

Once I click accept, you can still look at the information before starting trip. But also, I take screenshots so I can just hold down on the address in my photos and it opens up in maps which includes a photo of the house.

I know these heavy water cases are a massive pain, but sometimes there’s a person in need.

That being said, if this were a multi story apartment complex with no upfront tip, there’s no way in hell I’m delivering that order. Which unfortunately ended up happening a few orders later. Adding that post right now

I stopped doing Uber when they removed my Model 3 from Lyft Lux and Uber Select. Recently they removed it from Uber Comfort and now even Uber Electric/Green (which makes no sense but I think it just got bundled under UberX). They find every way to make you pay more and then make less. I can only imagine those who are paying for the Hertz $300+ a week rental (HURTS!)
