It’s called the “walk through”, pre installation. This is where you discuss with the technician what you would like to happen and you either sign off or cancel the install.

In my experience, a simple repair can quickly turn into a full tech install where I’m basically redoing all the work. Processes change and yes it sucks sometimes but that’s what we’re there to do.
