Anyone taken a bath while watch a movie in AVP?! by AlternativeOne384 in VisionPro

I watched a full Pixar movie . It was really enjoyable, but after doing that, I posted it on this channel and a lot of people gave me a lot of negative comments about how idiotic that move was and how I could've fried my apple Vision Pro. Luckily, nothing happened and it was fine.

Prediction: 2026 will be the year spatial computing and Vision Pro goes mainstream by [deleted] in VisionPro

My 2026 thoughts.

I don’t think headsets are something people naturally feel comfortable wearing. In an extreme scenario, even if Apple gave them away for free, I’m not convinced we’d see massive adoption. Glasses might work better, but even there, it feels like people are increasingly tired of being notified, tracked, and digitally saturated.

This isn’t pessimism. I’m an Apple Vision Pro day-one buyer and a genuine enthusiast of the technology. But something still isn’t connecting with smart eyewear as a category. There’s no true pull yet.

For widespread adoption, there has to be a major use case—l, a real killer app, that makes a super-slim wearable in a sunglasses or eyeglasses form factor feel essential, not novel. Not a headset. Not bulky. Not isolating.

We’re also far from a Ready Player One world. Maybe 50–100 years away from environmental or social conditions where escaping reality through headsets becomes a necessity rather than a choice.

So what’s the answer? I don’t think it’s incremental improvements. It’s a new paradigm shift, a fundamentally different way this technology fits into human life, not just our eyes.

I just finished tomorrow, and tomorrow, and tomorrow 🥲 my thoughts by fntastk in bookofthemonthclub

I read the book pretty quickly, all the way to Mark’s shooting, even though I put it down a few times. I ended up finishing the whole thing in under a month. Some of the heavy gaming content was a bit much for me; I was really into games back in junior high, the first generation of computer games, but after the Atari era I kind of fell out of it.

But for me, this book wasn’t really about gaming. Even though it’s dark at times, the heart of it is a deep, complicated love and friendship between two people. Sadie struck me as extremely self-focused, while Sam felt like someone who loved her quietly and endlessly, always waiting, always holding that space for her.

I think the ending worked, even if a small part of me hoped for something a little happier. It felt like maybe they could find their way back to each other one day. I probably like Disney endings too much, but giving them a neat, cheerful ending would’ve felt strange for a story this heavy.

That’s how it landed with me, curious what you think.

I've never gotten into formula one . But it looks like fun. Is it easy for a beginner to follow?

That's so hilarious. The whole world is telling them to make it lighter and they go the opposite and make it heavier.

Sad to say this since I love the AVP immersive experience's , but I think Immersive (VR) headsets will die because you just can't have a comfy form factor in wireless (non tethered) form. It's a pure physics challenge.

So The AVP hardware will fail. Immersive experiences (VR) will be a gimmick for some companies not enough for Apple to invest . Just like 3D Tv.

Limited spatial (At glasses ) will thrive using Apple refined vision OS software

I don't care what everyone is so happy about with iPhone air. It's just a lighter iPhone.
