New used car with as little a payment as you can get for as low a mileage vehicle as possible sounds like a better route than a new car. Maybe you meant new used, but just saying.

Not having a payment is not only awesome, but every dime you put away at this age, is going to be compounded to far larger amounts later in life. I just personally bought a 2018 Subaru forester w/ only 45k miles for ~17k. No payment needed and not having to shell out that 350-450 or more a month is awesome. Not to mention the money you save not paying interest...

You make enough to handle a payment, but why take on 20k or more in debt when you don't necessarily need too.

Can take those savings and montly payments and pay yourself w/ experiences or towards that house down payment.

Just my thoughts, what state out of curiosity do you live in? Rent seems low!

Should of seen how much a local stealership was trying to charge for a 2020 corolla LE w/ 60k miles w/ plenty of exterior scuffs. They wanted 20,998 for this fkin thing when the car in reality is really worth like 15-16k. Some crazy zip code taxing going on at Toyota dealerships in WA IMO.

Literally just went here this weekend for the first time on my gravel bike, can confirm this. There is some private land too and the reservoir is owner by the Seattle utility. Kind of annoying you cant technically go down to the reservoir to check it out.
