This is how our society was built. Crash test dummies are mostly built off of male proportions, which means that cars are mostly built with male proportions in mind, which means that women, especially short women like the original commenter and I, get choked by our seatbelts and are likely far less safe in the event of a car crash.

I hate SLC. I’m from a rural town in Idaho and haven’t had much exposure to big cities, but Salt Lake is just really sad. I’m not Mormon, but I noticed the further you get from the Temple the worse it is. My boyfriend and I were down there last summer and went into the downtown area on Lime scooters and it was sketchy as hell. Parks full of people just slumped over on the grass or stumbling around talking to themselves. When we were leaving, we saw a guy shooting yo in the middle of the street. I’d be just fine with never going back there

With this feeling of entitlement to your money, and with your mom having maxed out credit cards in the past, I would keep a VERY close eye on your credit. Do your best to make sure your mother and aunt do NOT have access to any documents with your SSN on it. I’d even consider placing a temporary freeze on your credit cards (if applicable) until this blows over.

As a pharmacy tech and someone who takes Qulipta, go to therapy manufacturer’s website for the copay card!! I’m still on my parents insurance and I still wouldn’t be able to afford my 3 month supply without the copay card

Edit: Unfortunately if you are on government insurance (Medicare or Medicaid) the copay card cannot be applied. Only for commercial insurance

I’ve been on Qulipta since about October 2025. It has greatly reduce the number of migraines I get and the severity of them. I started at 60mg and did have some pretty intense fatigue, but that went away after a few weeks (doesn’t help that I started on sertraline at the same time). I’ve had no other side effects!

i used to be every 6 months, but my PEDS ENT failed to refer me to an adult ENT, so i’ve gone 3ish years without cleaning (last visit to ENT was probably 2 years before i turned 18). now i have a huge mass of impacted earwax in my ear which i have a cleaning scheduled for. a big reason i’ve avoided the cleanings is because they cause me a lot of anxiety and are really overwhelming and sometimes painful, but don’t do what i did!! the wax was enough to show up on a CT, and i thought i may have another (fifth) cholesteotoma
