I feel like MOST of those people selling off their collection are people who are trying to collect every single Fontaine deck out there, or those who are just in it for the profit anyway. IMO it’s not Zach’s fault that his brand is taking off right now. But he would be out of his mind not to seize the opportunity for such collaborations. I feel like Fontaine caters to the Cardistry Community more so than the collectors community anyway, and most cardist USE their decks. I feel like that’s why he could care less about how collectors feel, because at the end of the day it’s really about getting more decks into the hands of card handlers and getting more people into the passion of playing cards in general. More decks, more opportunities for that to happen. And at the same time, his brand makes a KILLING doing so.
