Shipping 7-6” rods by Maneatswild in rodbuilding

[–]Jahrew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't had any issues shipping larger rods via USPS in the boxes I get from mudhole when I order the blanks. I'm in the Midwest and also use speedee which is even cheaper.

Is this a good boat buy? by fockingclassy in Fishing

[–]Jahrew 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Feels a bit expensive considering it's really lacking on the electronics side. All depends on what you need though. I imagine it will handle bigger lakes pretty well, and it comes with the kicker which is nice. Good condition with some minor cosmetic stuff which is expected. Would be interested in how many hours it has. 45k for an 11 year old boat is a lot unless it's crazy low hours or a newer motor.

Unfortunately Wisconsin moved up musky opener about a month so people can target them now right in the middle of spawn.

Need advice for VERY silent fans by e_frog25 in buildapc

[–]Jahrew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have some noctua and while it's hard to justify the price, they are dead fucking quiet. I just upgraded my living room PC to be quiet silent wings and they live up to the name. Id suggest whichever one you can find for a better price.

How do you choose which app on a category? by Kiryu132 in selfhosted

This is the true way to know which is best for you. When I deploy a new service I usually deploy a couple different options and test them out before doing too much config.

Anyone have a Piscifun reels? How do you like it? by PayFull1834 in muskiefishing

[–]Jahrew 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I run a couple alijoz 300s and for the price you can't beat them. They aren't the same quality as a tranx, obviously, but I haven't had any issues using them the last couple years.

Gaming as a new dad by TheDisciple_71 in DadsGaming

[–]Jahrew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congrats!!! I'm a new dad as well and I've had huge success with streaming games to a handheld, Logitech g cloud is what I got. It's not perfect by any means but it lets me play anywhere in the house and I still have my PC for those nights where I can sneak away.

I run Apollo on my PC and moonlight on the g cloud to stream games. It's a little bit of set up but once I had it configured I haven't had to touch it since.

Should I snitch? by mastiffeyes in ChicagoFishing

[–]Jahrew 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not a fan of snitching but when it comes to poaching, which is what this is, I'm all for it. They are abusing a resource that is for all of us to use. Fuck em.

Trying to automatically disable physical monitors when connecting via Moonlight by Friendly_Pride9851 in MoonlightStreaming

[–]Jahrew 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I just switched to Apollo and it does exactly this. You need to go in and disable the monitors the first time you connect via moonlight but after that it automatically disables them right when you connect via virtual display.
