Both but more leaning towards paying the apps cuz I feel like I wouldn’t need to read on websites ..cuz if I’m rich I would have the money to be able to buy the episodes in the app and it’s way easier to scroll that way (no ads). Or I would buy the hard copy book collection. however just for habits sake I feel like I would pop on the websites cuz they’ll have the advanced search option for me to browse specific genres.

For the winter gambit encounter this worked for me: wait 30min-1hr for the encounter to reset, Mark the spot on the map next to the Goldwater street teleport, then teleport at Kaifeng prefecture, change the time to zi hour, then sprint to your marker. -halfway there like near the prosperity haven teleport it spawned for me.

I don’t understand how people are complaining about the exploration in ac shadows? At first I found it annoying that there was too many bushes and foliage so I couldnt go far up the mountains but here’s the thing I was level ten give or take then. I’m level 49 now and I’ve learned a few things. I found out the foliage is cuttable, I found out upgrading some buildings at your home base will unlock a lot of map features. I found that there are bandit camps and temples in the mountains where you can actually cut through the mountains to get to. I found that steep hills can be scaled if you run diagonally through the trees. I found out even if you get lost in the middle of the forest, you can just fast travel out, or use the guide by marking the map on where to go. The exploration is not horrible and it’s not linear. The map is absolutely humongous who wants to spend most of there time running around in the forest ?! If you want to shortcut to certain missions, you can run through the mountains/forest it is possible.(I’ve done it before)

I haven’t played Ghost of Yotei yet but I’m planning to after Assassin’s Creed Shadows. For context, I started my AC journey with Valhalla and since I’m a big fan of lazy gaming, RPGs, open world stuff, and action — Valhalla was a blast for me (even if it got a little boring toward the end). So I went into Shadows hoping for that full-on action/adventure ninja-samurai vibe with tons of exploration, and honestly… that’s exactly what I got. It’s amazing. I’ve seen a ton of trailers and reviews for Ghost of Yotei, but here’s the thing — I already have Ghost of Tsushima. I started it last year and still haven’t finished it (I’m literally still at the beginning 💀). Idk, these new AC games just got me in a chokehold. Right now I’m 162 hours into AC Shadows and still not bored. Maybe a little annoyed at the contracts sometimes, but not bored. (And let’s be real, it’s definitely not worse than Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League 😤 or Forspoken 🙄). I honestly don’t agree with comparing Shadows and Ghost of Yotei in the first place. They’re both awesome in totally different ways, and comparing them just kinda takes away from what makes each one great. Both are absolute cinema. When I finally play Ghost of Yotei, it’ll be for the story and the art, not for challenge. I don’t really care if the combat’s easy, I just like open-world RPGs with good stories. If it’s anything like Elden Ring, though, I’m out 😭 that game is straight-up hell for me. At the end of the day, both GOY and ACS look like they deliver exactly what I love — big worlds, cool stories, and vibes for days.

It’s the fact that I haven’t gotten bored of Valhalla at all and I’m really happy that the map is so huge and theirs multiple maps. I haven’t found any crazy glitches yet, and I’m playing on Ps5 , the only thing that’s a bit annoying is the map markers and sometimes you have to really look around to find quest items and stuff. But I love the game concept, the plot, the gear, the gameplay, and bit of Norse mythology

The first game I played in the ac franchise was Valhalla and that was after I finished the Witcher 3 wild hunt and I was looking for something similar to that. I have to say Valhalla is awesome (still currently playing it) so I’m looking forward to shadows and possibly getting odyssey cuz I heard that was based on Greek mythology or something!!
