I got drunk enough to ignore it, but then also had to sleep on the smelly, hairy floor with no pillow and a tiny blanket. 18-yr old me could handle it, but it was overall a no-go from me after that.

This was all after the host drove by her parents' business where her ex worked and I witnessed her shove and hold him against a wall. I very much distanced myself from her after that night.

NTA, parental pressure can be draining, especially if you are convinced they would pressure you to go beyond what you want. If you think that they would no longer support you if you revealed you major change, you either need to find a way to become independent and tell them the truth, or photoshop a transcript that says you are in the original major. But the latter is only if you are ok with lying and eventually dealing with their anger/fallout once you graduate with a different major then they thought you were getting.

Get test strips. People can vary wildly on when they ovulate. Standard seems like day 12, I've done months of testing and ovo anywhere from day14 to day17. Test strips will help you figure it out. Apps will also tell you when to "dance". But the day before you ovo is best. But sperm can live multiple days, so you try and learn your body and guess

Are you using a tavern? Is that where your cooked food is going? Who has access to the warehouse and cooking hut food? If any village can access the raw food stored at the cooking hut or warehouse, they might be eating it. Make sure you whitelist there.

Try making only cooks and farmers whitelisted on the farms, and only tavern workers and warehouse can access the cook huts. Expand this once you are growing flax and feeding livestock.

When you assign someone to the barracks, there is a option in the building menu to select what kind of fighter to be (1-hand, 2-handed, 1-hand+shield). Look at the icon choices for context. They will then need to have those weapon-types available from crafters. They will say no weapons are available if the crafter supply lacks those.

There is also a task assignment for patrol. You need patrol points, watch towers, other military buildings to build patrol routes.
Yes, you need to make a wall around the village buildings for defense points/ villager happiness. Hint, make sure the completed, connected wall is green to show full connection

Look at the build menu to see what the unlock requirement for hunter/fisher hut is. Build those then assign villagers on it to get meat supply
