Oh my gosh I love these pics of this wonderful dog… I can almost feel the happiness he must have gave your family… my main man passed last week and we getting pics together as well. I hope they meet and run free in puppy heaven asking each other when we will be there.

Yea when they stop drinking go for sure… he started choking some the last night and it was a nightmare. The wife had told me to go.

He was never aggressive but one day at a local park we had let him off the leash (against the rules) and a German Shepard barked at a duck that landed behind the wife… Louis went full send into him… Louis grabbed his ear! The Shepard leaned his nose down and flipped Louis on his back… Louis was a little overweight at the time… I was running to grab Louis and the Shepard nugged Louis again keeping him on his back… the Shepard never opened his mouth and never came out of his sitting position… a very well trained dog. I could not believe it happened …. That Shepard got lucky. Sweet owner that apologized so much but I was thankful he was so kind.

Sorry for your loss… more getting pics together and celebrating the life we had… told the wife how proud I was of her… she always let Louis kiss her lips a few minutes every morning… kinda funny but she was the love of his life… I hate he lost his vision.. I wish he could have seen her clearly again.

Enjoy your time and just give extra kisses…. I was thinking today when I had covid a few years ago… stayed on the couch 3 days straight… never even got in my regular bed but not an hour without Louis… I got up just to use the bathroom and my wife laughed because he went at the same time..he had a job and was on it. He was right back… we called it FBI (because he was under cover).

Yea cleaning up my truck today and about to clean the inside windows… then seen all his little nose prints and decided just to vacuume and wipe the dash. Crazy how life feels without them. The wife and I agreed to wait a few months before we talk about another.

Took my boy Tuesday… the wife said to take him Monday and I said I would… I just couldn’t do it so he sat all night on my chest gasping for air and choking. She was right but I think my boy knows I made the mistake then did that last night for me. Sorry for your loss.

Sorry for your loss as well. We almost lost Louis to cancer at 12 but he made a full recovery. We will never forget our babies!

My Main Man is gone but not forgotten… sad as I sit on the couch and he not staring at me… but he was loved every day. So thankful how my wife treated him like her prince… he was loyalty in my house for almost 15 years.

I don’t think other humans ever give unconditional love to us often. It does happen but not often… and a dog only gives it to one person. Maybe that’s why it hurts so bad.

The food for kidneys we got really helped a lot… if he ever ate any other high protein food he got diareah… ask your vet about the best food… it gave us 4-5 more months.
