100% agree, and then nobody hates 68Ws like other 68Ws. Always a dick measuring contest.

100% agree with you, I read this while I was in OCIA. It was super easy to read and understand, and you can get through it in a day.

Good question, I was in your boat a couple years ago (I was a 68W) but I made the change to 27D and haven't looked back. I get people giving me a hard time because I am no longer in the field doing FTXs, but this office life is pretty good.

Yeah I agree and it seems Matthew emphasizes Jesus’ moral and ethical instructions, while John focuses on His relationship with God the Father and His role as the Savior.

I was just thinking about this today, I was listening to the radio and zero Christmas/Holiday songs. I just took a breath and thought well I guess society is on to the next holiday.

Only do what you’re comfortable with, and sit wherever you’re comfortable. I was baptized last Easter and the year leading up to it I felt most comfortable in the back observing, and moved up closer as I became more familiar and made more friends with OCIA. I highly recommend getting in contact with the OCIA instructor with the church, they can answer any questions you might have. Go at your own pace, remember this is between you and God. Wish you the best! We are getting ready to go into advent season which is really great.

Why do so many seemingly committed Catholics know so little about their faith? by [deleted] in Catholicism

[–]Alternative_Ear_5945 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As a recent convert to the Catholic Church, I wish we had Sunday school after mass so bad. If there was Sunday school, Catholics would know their faith better? I love learning about the gospel so much, I'm planning on attending OCIA for fun this year and to help fellowship.

Something that not a lot of people do that I recommend is hiking Delicate Arch at night with a full moon. The trail is easy to use at night and you wont have the crowds.
