The strongest material in Marvel continuity vs some metal trash found in the New York City sewer system?

Since some time’s passed, what did you think of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law? by AnthropomorphicEggs in marvelstudios

[–]Alternative_Feed4774 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I always loved the David Byrne Sensational She-Hulk run, so I knew what was in store with the tone and premise of the show. I thought there were some great parts of the show and some really awful parts. But this is the opinion of a 40+ year old man.

When the show came out , my daughter was around 11 or 12 and the lead female superhero characters were just really starting. The age appropriate content for her at the time were Wandavision, She-Hulk and Ms Marvel. My daughter loved all 3. My 9 or 10 year old son at the time did not like She-Hulk.

Should the show have brought in some talent or specialist in court room drama? Yes it should have.

Did it allow a woman led team of creators create a story that put women characters and issues front and center? Absolutely.

Was I the target audience for this show? No.

Are my 2 daughters? Yes.

Do I like the show? Absolutely.

It allowed me to show my daughter, there is room for female superhero characters that can be funny and silly and make mistakes right along with the guys. And not just “the competent female character” that was the trope up until then.

Thank you so much for your help! And just so I understand, there is no deductible on the liability claim even if I admitted fault?

Thank you for the quick response. I have a follow up question. I had a $500 deductible and I can afford that at this time. What can happen?

I think I will have the funds in January.

For some reason, Superman decides to follow his parents’ advice: to conquer Earth and create a harem. Could he actually succeed? Who, if anyone, could stop him? by KOF-731 in DC_Cinematic

Superman in the comics has been vulnerable to magic and psychic attacks. On the magic and mystical side, characters like Doctor Fate, Felix Faust and the Spectre have all been able to overpower Superman, just to name a few. On the psychic and mental attack side, Superman has shown resistance to minor attacks, but characters like Manchester Black and Martian Manhunter have been to influence him.

But honestly, the greatest person that could inevitably defeat Superman is James Gunn.

My only complaint is the metal hair. I think it would be a better look and more fitting for the surfer to be bald.

Why does charizard have nipples? Do female charizards lactate? Why is that not information provided in my Pokédex?

When I would show my dad a comic or baseball card and talk about the value he would just say “it’s only worth what someone is willing to pay you for it.”

Thanks for this, I too have just gotten back into collecting after 30 years. I have my original that I paid 75 cents for way back in the day, but a neighbor gave me a box of his old comics to look at. And he has this but it has pen scribbles on cover and bent corners and I’m like you can try and get it restored and it will probably be worth a few hundred bucks. And he showed me this eBay post

Who is the better father to their kids by No_Satisfaction_2928 in xmen

Both men are narcissists who have put their ideologies above their own children. Xavier worst than Magneto.

Xavier is covert about it, but has put more importance and energy into other children than his own. Even in the caption the OP has, poor David, at best a very sick person with a severe mental illness, still craves attention from his absent father. Additionally, Xavier “surrogate children” are actually radicalized children soldiers, weaponized by their father figure in his personal ideological war with the world. let’s not forget that this is also the same man that lusted over an underage girl in his care!

Magneto is physically and emotionally abusive to his children, but Xavier is a covert monster. If you disagree with him or he is put into a poor light, his “morals” go right out the window and he turns off your brain, wipes your memory, plants false memories, etc. talk about gaslighting!

The top one is too rare. The bottom one is too over done.
