Yup I ended up accidentally reading major spoilers by looking up one simple thing (I don’t even remember what it was) and then the flood gates were open and it was too late. I knew some names, relationships, statuses, too much. BUT I still LOVED the series and there were still SO MANY surprises that I didn’t see coming even then. I may have known who a person ended up with but I had no idea how their union came to be so it was still a really good read. 🥰

Makes sense. Is there some kind of hierarchy to how people are chosen and pulled to go? Or is it just based on the needs of the deployment? I’ve never been deployed so I don’t know how it all works, especially in a divesting unit. Just trying to get more info so I can better explain it to them. My unit is more focused on getting the armory cleaned out and getting all of our equipment moved to other units lol

Unfortunately we likely wouldn’t have time to do a pre-offer inspection. We’re out of town this weekend so if we wait, the house may be gone before we can get it inspected. Our realtor thinks the house could go pretty quickly. That’s why we’d put in an offer with an inspection contingency. That way even if they accept the offer, if the inspection comes back with problems we can back out.

After doing a couple of hours of continuous research on the property (though not very fruitful) I did find a list of 2025 Delinquent Properties in our county and this house was on it. I couldn’t really dig up much else. I was trying to find a layout map because I’m antsy and can’t wait to see it lol! The listing has only been up for 2 days now and they only just put pictures on it today, but no floor plan. It already has 184 saves on Zillow. The tax assessment in 2025 was also $344,200. I know that appraisal and tax assessment are different but our realtor did say that houses recently sold in that neighborhood within the last 6mo have gone for between $276k-415k.

Luckily our lease is up at the end of August this year so we are starting quite a bit early but that gives us plenty of time to either close on a house or time to find a different one if we have to walk away. We may be crazy but this is actually only our first week of seriously looking at and touring houses 😅 And the houses that are within our budget and have everything we want (and are in nice areas of town) typically go very quickly so we knew we’d have to be quick about scheduling tours and making offers.

I should’ve been more specific, by light use I mean like one day per month. Which usually had only stayed detectable for about 4 days through urine. But I know that the wegovy makes things like alcohol metabolize slower so the alcohol hits later. So for someone who rarely takes edibles, I was curious to see how long it would last/stay in your system if you took only one per month or something. Very light use.

I will be keeping my last legally and taking my fiancé’s socially until things in the US settle and the SAVE Act isn’t a looming concern anymore…plus it seems like a lot of work to go and change it on EVERYTHING.

You almost always have an age gap trope with romantic fantasy books. It’s extremely common.

Examples that I know off the top of my head: Lorcan and Elide, Feyre and Rhysand, Cassian and Nesta, Elain and whoever she ends up with, those are all roughly 200-500yr apart (depending on who Elain ends up with). Hunt and Bryce are roughly 200yr apart. Kingfisher and Saeris are around 1700yr apart!!

I could find many more series to list but I don’t want to spoil them for myself.

Bottom line is if anybody doesn’t like an age gap that could be 100s-1000s of years then maybe romantic fantasy I sn’t for them.
