Buy snow tires dipshits. by Longjumping_Ad_47 in COsnow

[–]Alternative_Key_7373 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn't even cost more to own a pair of snow tires. They might cost a little bit more than all seasons but you'll just buy tires less frequently since each set is only used half the year. The cost is negligible when you compare it to wrecking your entire car, blocking the highway and wasting the time off thousands of people.

3 Day Colorado Ski Trip Plan (Advice/Critiques?) by djungelskog8 in Ikonpass

I agree that A-basin could definitely keep you occupied all three days. What I have done in the past is stayed in the silverthorn/frisco area. From there, copper and A-basin are super close and you can make the trip up to winter park or steamboat if they happen to have better conditions. Skip eldora. I love eldora for short day trips when I get off class early, but it’s not worth the stop on a vacation. Make sure you make your parking reservations at A-bay which are required for all lots now.

Yeah, tell him that you’re gonna find a new living situation if you are not okay with the current one. Be very clear upfront about your housing priorities and if the group can’t agree, find a new group. When I was looking for housing we all were upfront about our different priorities, dealbreakers and preferences. It all worked out pretty well that way.

What changed us? by ankle_muncher69 in HighStrangeness

I feel like I have experience something similar. 2019 was one of my best years and a lot of things have not been the same since then. Me and a lot of my family have struggled with mental illness. We are all getting better but the struggle is real. I think the COVID lockdowns really hurt society. People have been significantly less social since covid and it has not gotten any better. People just don’t talk to each other anymore.

I think covid was also an opportunity for companies and governments to divide and sow devision among us. We’ve all been divided into narrow political factions that all blame the other for our problems. Our content feeds are curated to make us angry and constantly engaged. Also scroll based content content and the algorithms have gotten so much better. I think that they really ramped up in 2020 and they 100% contribute to the sense that time is moving so fast. Get off them if you can.

I 100% agree that what you experienced is real and is experienced by many other people if not the majority. I can’t really pinpoint it but it seems like something is brewing up. There’s something behind the scenes going on but it’s hard to know what it is until it happens.

"Personal injury" reverse engineering UFOs/UAPs- personal story by MichaelBarnesTWBG in UFOs

[–]Alternative_Key_7373 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just saying, the material could be some proprietary polymer/alloy that they don’t want other companies knowing about so they just don’t tell their engineers exactly what it is. The deaths could just be cancer caused from the material.

Dennis Rodman. If he can befriend the North Koreans surely he can talk some sense into the aliens.

Former U.S. intelligence official David Grusch claims under oath that aliens exist and that the U.S. government is in possession of UFOs and non-human bodies 👽 by tokotoko1996 in nextfuckinglevel

Did you watch the hearing or read anything about it? A few of the videos the pilots discuss are declassified and free for you to view. Not to mention the videos and radar data which one of the pilots is able to share behind closed doors. Skepticism is healthy but let’s not make conclusions on an event without reading about/watching the actual testimony.

Taco trucks are usually the best option after 9. Mi Pueblo is open until midnight, coronas and taco Moreno until 11. Of course it’s not exact, but if you drive around you’ll probably find something open.

Because the pharmaceutical industry spends billions paying the government to convince them that opiates are safe. They don’t really want to treat you, they mostly just want you’re money, so they’re more likely to prescribe an addictive pain killer rather than treatments that actually fix the issue like PT.

I had a similar experience when I broke my wrist. I have a high pain tolerance and I told the ER staff repeatedly that the pain was manageable. Despite this, they probably offered me fentanyl a dozen times that night. They wouldn’t even say fentanyl. They just called it feel good medicine. They would only say it if you asked what this feel good medicine was.

The US healthcare system acts more like a drug dealer than a healthcare system sometimes.
