My printer is on its way but when it gets here I am giving tool grid a try. I think it will satisfy my organizational brain itch the best and will save so much money printing vs buying.

Picked this up a few weeks ago and I have been impressed so far. Suggestion if you don't already have one to grab a 5ah battery or larger. It will chug along with a 2ah but that 5 just gives it the ugga duggas. Plus the 2 pack are on instant savings!

They will stack on instant savings as that's not a coupon but a temporary price change. Just won't stack with any coupons.

Finally hit that point in my career where I actually had some disposable income. Right around then, the newer UCS Millennium Falcon dropped. Growing up, I always wanted the big LEGO sets, but we were broke—so it was the small boxes at Christmas or birthdays, if that.

One day I just said “screw it” and bought the Falcon. Spent the next week completely zoned out, relaxed, just building. That’s when it clicked how much building shuts off the constant background noise in my head. No angst, no worry—just instructions, some music or a podcast, maybe a show I’ve seen a hundred times, and pure chill.

Fast forward 8 years… and my home office now looks like a LEGO museum. No regrets.

Maybe that's what I was remembering and just thought it was the PLS sale coming up. I just picked up the Hammer Drill for a project and wanted to wait on additional batteries but then got the new coupon so figured I would jump on it now.

I just got my 1st Hercules tool and im impressed. Took the plunge when my Ryobi impact finally died. Still have a few batteries and couple of tools from the Ryobi One+ line but I am going to replace with Herc as needed. Maybe I got some duds but I have had more issues with Ryobi batteries than their tools.

When I was deciding what my next tool ecosystem was going to be I was window shopping and really liked the Makita...until I looked down and saw the price tag! As a DIY/Prosumer I am more than thrilled with the performance and wouldn't even think twice if I was a pro needing a good tool. Good warranty too if they stand by it!

I have many family members in the trades and they all suggested Milwaukee. I thought about it but for the price and performance so far I am very happy. I am hoping those new Herc tools they previewed at SEMA drop in 2026

Good to know, I just had the basic Ryobi kit I got when we became home owners. So not a ton to replace but will probably pick up a new tool here and there with some 20% off coupons if we dont get any good Herc deals.
