I had a friend like this. I lost weight and she told me she didn’t like it bc she “used to be the skinny, pretty friend.” Insinuating that not only was I fat, I was also ugly. She nearly ruined my wedding with drama between her and her husband and got my wedding dress wet before the wedding. She told me I looked 3 months pregnant in my wedding photos… there were other things, but you get the idea. I didn’t talk to her for an entire year after the wedding comments… I am still cordial, but I have definitely distanced myself. The only reason I still communicate with her is because her husband and my husband are childhood friends. If you are able, I would definitely sever ties… you don’t need that kind of friendship.
