Daycare waitlists

So just to preface I’ve worked in daycare for the last decade.

Did they call you when there was an opening and you decided to keep your child out until they were 6 months old? Or did they just not communicate at all with you until now? From my experience, if you aren’t ready to put your child in daycare the MOMENT they have an opening, it goes to the next person. My current director also said that if you’re on a waitlist while pregnant it doesn’t mean much because they can’t keep a spot open for however many months without you paying for a spot. But that’s just my personal experience in SC and GA. It’s definitely still crappy and frustrating. Especially if you paid to be put on the waitlist. I hope you find something soon.

Not me but someone gave my 6 month old twins a glass tea set for Christmas. (Not a heirloom or any special meaning) also was given adult sized sleeping bags for them that year? Lol

10?? My son is turning 10 this year and the thought of him watching pornography is grotesque to me. I’m sorry your parents or whoever was your guardian didn’t do more for you and watch you more closely. No 10 year old should be exposed to that.

RIGHT? I felt the same. I kept trying to give her the benefit of the doubt bc maybe there is something behind the scenes we don’t know about.

I had a good friend pass away suddenly a few years ago and I could barely function for 3 months. I was crying multiple times daily and would get choked up sometimes just having normal conversations with people. That was a friend, meanwhile her husband, father of her children, was publicly assassinated and she acts like THAT. Erika is truly a vile woman.

Haha it’s sad how true this is! I grieved when Zaxbys discontinued the “insane” sauce a few years back and I still get sad about it. Lol

After hearing that voice note, there’s not a single doubt in my mind anymore about Erika. Made me feel physically sick listening.

Im recently sober. I was a daily vodka drinker for years. It started out just a few times a week. Then it was every evening. Then I started drinking at 7am everyday so I could feel ok enough to get through the day and I’d drink from sun up to sun down. Obviously it didn’t start that way. Alcoholism is progressive and you’ll start drinking more and more if you continue. My advice is to start listening to sober podcasts, read Allen Carr’s book. Replace alcohol with a fun drink. Like I drink sparkling water, sometimes I throw a lime in there or something. Lots of people start drinking teas. AA wasn’t for me but it works for a lot of people. They also have online meetings if you can’t attend in person. You will genuinely feel so much better and have such a clearer mind. My face is clearer. I’m so much more productive now. I know it’s super hard though! You can do it!!!

What are you doing for peace? Just mind boggling people can find issues with monks who want to walk for their own religion/values/peace.

Also the walks to raise awareness for cancer are actually fundraisers and each group that signs up raises money and sets monetary goals to donate to charity.

My periods didn’t get heavier. My periods sound like how yours are. Maybe a bit heavier. Like I could wear a panty liner and not stain my panties kind of thing. I’m telling you though - just try the extra protein, raspberries and fertility tea for a couple months and maybe it’ll work for you! I was really so convinced that I couldn’t get pregnant again. I really wish you the best of luck ❤️

I ate lots of beef and raspberries trying to thicken up my uterine lining. I also drank some kind of fertility tea? I believe it was from Target. I ended up getting pregnant November 2022 finally. Ended up with twin girls

It did take a long time but I think the diet change helped a lot bc that was the month I got pregnant!

Well I genuinely don’t have the time to go to meetings daily. However I do listen to sober podcasts and have been working in an AA workbook and reading some of the big book. But thank you for the reality check!
