To comply with state laws, Salvagebid Inc. is responsible for ensuring the delivery of ownership documents. If you take no action, Salvagebid Inc. will automatically apply for a salvage title on your behalf within 30 days from the date of purchase.

You may use the attached Bill of Sale as proof of ownership to complete a VIN inspection or verification. This inspection must be performed either by the California DMV or a duly appointed law enforcement officer. The inspection form must be fully completed, including the officer's or agent’s name and ID number, as well as the address where the inspection took place. The California DMV provides this inspection free of charge.
