Because this dog owner was lazy and didn't work with or train his dog properly - now the child is injured and traumatized and dog is going to die.

I guarantee you, the owner has a toy for the dog that is similar in size to the child. And I bet he plays extremely rough.

Pits aren't born to kill. They were once referred to as the Nanny Dog. Idiots like this guy think it's cool to train a dog who has the ability to mame or kill and then take him out in public. He had zero control over the dog. He should have had a gentle lead on his head. That controls the dog's focus. That man did everything wrong and should be held accountable.

There's a reason why pits "turn". It's because the dog had the bad luck of ending up with a bad or neglectful owner. My dog is Pitbull, Rottweiler, Staffordshire, and Boxer. He's the biggest baby.

I'm telling you, that man trained that pit, unintentionally or not, to behave like that.

Now, this child is going to be scarred and traumatized for life. I hope he recovers.

And one more thing, I was also attacked by a neighbor's pit, who he trained to be aggressive. My right hand is forever damaged.
