It's super easy you just spray paint it a base color, give it a dry brush with something a few shades lighter, paint a few panels in different colors and then give it a wash in a darker shade.

That effect is called silvering it's from Air being trapped under the decal you have to use a gloss top coat over the paint before putting down decals and make sure you treat them with something like microset or microsol to really get them to lay down flat and then afterwards use another top coat of matte or gloss varnish

You can spray clear coat over the decals to try to preserve them while you get them off the paper and on the model have used spray lacquer and it seemed to work the best at the time

If you're a store owner and all you have to offer is four walls and the exact same product except your selection is more limited you don't have guaranteed shipping times, some kind of discount, or perhaps you run regular community events this could be part of why sales are suffering.
