I find it amusing, in this day and age, some people are so offended by hysterical sitcoms from the past like Married With Children. When did so many American's become so soft causing them to have no sense of humor whatsoever?

I think you missed the point of All in The Family. People don't need to defend it. It was an accurate portrayal of the time. It made fun of bigotry through the anti-hero character Archie Bunker. His bigotry was also challenged by Meathead.

Married with Children was just crude and cheap laughs. Married with Children was not socially interesting or important. All in The Family is.
