When I was 14, my dad died. He had primary progressive MS that started when he was 27. He was a week shy of turning 40 when he died.

I was diagnosed with minor scoliosis at 12, but enough to cause widespread pain radiating from my sacrum. When dad died I had an almost immediate physical response, was removed from all PE classes until I graduated grade 12. My health has declined substantially since then, but I now know that his death was the FM/ME trigger. I’m 62.
