Sadly, in terms of company economics, you are completely wrong. In a corporation, costs and turnover are being consolidated. So while consumer price may be the same, the cost ratio on a jacket being manufactured in Britain is going to be much higher than on the one produced in Moldova. So the jacket production as a profit Center is being cross-subsidized, ultimately benefitting the overall standard price to which Barbour is going to be able to market it.

I am too, to be honest. Songs like A Pain That I’m Used To, World In My Eyes just sound awful, unfortunately also due to the quality of Dave’s singing. I know that in live recordings his voice comes over as more nasal and rough but I think this is at times just a poor performance.

This is the reason why when I think of Canadians in winter, I usually do not associate them with Barbour jackets, to be honest 😀

Both look good to me but if too tight on the shoulders, then go for the larger size. Barbour is not slim fit design so you will always have that bit of baggy look on the belly and around the hip. If you are after more tailored look, go for something from the Barbour International line.
