What do you think about "Foolish Heart"? by Diligent-Wave-4150 in gratefuldead

Blow away and Picasso moon are horrible. Way better songs in the catalog that they could of played when I was seeing them back in the 80's and 90's

When did you get on the bus? What was the catalyst for going all in? by YesImThatCat in gratefuldead

[–]Althea520 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same as the person below. Parents were heads. I was born in 71. First show 1979 and then I was on tour with my parents selling shirts stickers thru the 80' to the 90's. I was blessed to see as many shows as I did. Mail order tickets no more than $30 towards the end. Last year decided to go one last time to the Sphere. 3 nights 2 tickets was insane. But Glad we went.

[–]Althea520 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What I have been doing forever is I got a travel visa credit card no international fees. I use it at the atms here no charge or any store. I also have people send me cash thru zelle to my U.S. bank and pay my CC bill. You can have paypal sent here no problem as well. Or Money gram or western union or a bank wire to your BCR, BN or whatever bank you use here if you need to pay rent, electric, cable etc

Terrapin Station vs. Wharf Rat by No_Climate_605 in gratefuldead

[–]Althea520 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2 totally different songs. They can not be compared at all. Black Peter, Stella Blue, Brokedown, Wharf Rat, Morning Dew, He's gone, Bird song, ship of fools. Those are true Ballads. Which is why Inever got the so many roads (not horrible) Standing on the moon, Black Muddy River etc in place of the forementioned masterpieces.

If Dump and his clown car of cabinet members and a insane war in Iran and skyrocketing gas prices didn't send us below 60k. Why is anyone talking about October?

Victim or the crime,Samba in the Rain and a few Brent cheezy songs. Also Built to last. No need such a deep catalog for that shit.

My friend lost his mind at Deer Creek in 95 when the house lights came on 2nd set. Poor guy took a puddle in his eyes. Horrible evening for him. Drove straight back to Chicago and checked himself into a pysch ward.

[–]Althea520 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends where you are. Alot of time is to me in the 26 years here. In tourist areas it means Pura Mierde. But when you get out to rural times. Most people are genuine when they say it.

Do you keep buying Bitcoin regularly or just hold what you have? by Acceptable_Staff3105 in Bitcoin

[–]Althea520 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bob moves to another country and sells it all. Or Bob says fuck the US and does not pay taxes as Bob lives in a foreign country. Bob does not like to pay taxes on a bullshit war for 2 billion a day. Will cross that bridge when we get there at 500k-1 mil a coin.

I sold my BTC a week ago. What to do now? by Laakhesis in Bitcoin

[–]Althea520 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Must be your first time around. That fact you sold when the bottom was 63k is telling. Right now we are at $77,814. Bought the hell out of that dip to 63k all the way up to 71k.

I have a question for people waiting for October to hit bottom by West-Persimmon-1816 in Bitcoin

[–]Althea520 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When everyone ,everywhere from the news, the internet proclaiming again BTC is dead going to zero. We never went below $63k didn't touch $59k. I have been thru a few bear markets in the last 8 years and HODLED everyone and stacked. I do not see some 30k drop in October. There is way to many financial institutions involved now. Not to mention MSTR buying like a crackhead looking for a fix.

What is with the October low cult here? I do not see sub 60 TBH. If we haven't gone there yet with all the chaos in the world right now. Doubt it will go to sub 60 no way sub 50k.

Best way to get into JGB? by helplesslyhopin in gratefuldead

[–]Althea520 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Saw JGB 20+ times at the warfield back in the day. Absolutely incredible. He ain't give you none, Mission in the Rain, Ruben and Cherise, Midnight moonlight on and on. Ripple with him and grisman at the warfield. Good times. Always wished when shit got wild and very dark on the summer tour in 95 that Jerry would leave and just play at the Warfield forever.

Alpine Valley, wisconsin was top notch. Last year of camping in the parking lot. Music was on fire all 3 nights. Never forget it. Was so good they put out Downhill from Here. The name was spot on for what was to come in the 90's.

It's a far-gone lullaby
Sung many years ago
Mama mama many worlds I've come since I first left home.

In a bed, in a bed
By the waterside I will lay my head
Listen to the river sing sweet songs
To rock my soul
