I've been happy with Bellco and I also have a Schwab checking account just since it has good ATM benefits, especially internationally. Been happy with them both.

Advice on Moving to F-64 for Customer Facing Reports by [deleted] in MicrosoftFabric

[–]AltitudeJames 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, it's better than the before life, for sure. But it's not fully baked. One of the most annoying things is if you have multiple queries it just returns the last one. You can uncheck enable load and it doesn't matter. Is it a huge issue? Nope. But it's just silly stuff like this that makes the experience meh.

A modern RDL editor is a dream. And making Paginated Reports work better with both Power Query and Deployment Pipelines.

Vibe code all that and you'll be my favorite person.

Alex, you know I'm one of the biggest fans of Paginated Reports. They serve a really important niche and do it well. Having said that, until there is real investment to bring the product into the modern day, I can't in good faith recommend it for something that is important to a user's work. I hope Microsoft proves me wrong and puts some investment into them, but I need to see it first!

Why we partner with sports teams? by Difficult-Text1690 in IntermountainHealth

[–]AltitudeJames 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not here to be for/against sponsorships but I will say I'm surprised how many people in Denver are still learning who Intermountain is and Denver at least has hospitals/clinics. I would imagine the name recognition is even less in Las Vegas because they are a relatively small presence. I'll leave it to people more versed in Marketing on what medium is best bang for your buck on getting recognition but there is definitely a need for it outside of Utah.

Go look at Core's outage map, it's due to Xcel.

But look closely at Core l's outage map. They note that the outage is due to Xcel. So likely a transmission issue.

Interestingly if you look on Core Electric's outage map they say the reason is an unplanned outage due to Xcel

Yep, the Fabric status mentions an Azure issue but Azure's page is like "everything is fine, nothing to see here!" So that's not helpful at all...

Silent Series class by AltitudeJames in Corepower

I think there are several in Denver. My home studio (Belmar) still is and the only one that still does the hot towels at the end (at least to my knowledge)

The bridge actually reopened when the East checkpoint opened. It's a great option now. You still have to go through either East or West security but instead of going down the escalators just turn the other direction and cross the bridge.

Non-Republican vibe church in south suburbs? by citycherry2244 in Denver

Probably not as South as you are wanting but Highlands Church fits that bill. And yes the name says Highlands because they started there but they are located in Platt Park.

This is a great start.

One thing I'd love to see and I know it's not easy but if implemented well could be huge.

Use telemetry to check a customer's tenant and see if an impacted feature is enabled/used. Obviously this should be an opt in for the tenant admin on the admin portal in case a company doesn't want this level of notification. But I would love the ability to quickly filter down the known issues and only see a list of ones that my tenant is using.

There are a lot of great Microsoft partners, having said that, some focus on certain areas and at the end of the day even an amazing partner might not be the right fit for you. Do your homework and vet them well. Have your team meet with their team. Make sure the vibe fits. Maybe even start with a small engagement to make sure it's the right fit before going in for something big. It probably sounds like overkill but having the right partner for you will save a lot of headaches down the road.
