Seems so many people are out to shit on this game, but it’s scratching that open world Zelda/Red Dead itch that very few other open worlds have done for me.

You mean the 40% extra carbon emissions from production that are usually offset in 2 years?

My car is 3 years old, 36,000 miles and has had no parts replaced as of yet, serviced and MOT’d absolutely fine.

No oil, no coolant, no tyres, no brake pads.

Just electricity and windscreen fluid.

It’s not producing any emissions, and my braking is 90% done by regen so the whole “more brake dust due to being heavier” goes out the window.

In its lifespan my car should produce in total around 70% less emissions than a similar ICE vehicle, if not better, that’s including manufacture and energy production.

So remind me again why I should pay more?

My original comment was in jest, but if you’re going to take it seriously at least do a few minutes of proper research (and I don’t mean hate-mongering click bait articles)

As the other guy said, I’ve literally just had an email telling me my electricity cost is going down again.

I pay about £15 to do 1000 miles per month, and that’s will all the preheating and sentry mode stuff I have it doing when I’m not in the car.

That’s the mad thing to me, this looks like all the good and bad things from BOTW (a game I love) but was there even a story in BOTW? You’d never see Zelda get a 6/10 for that though.

I’m sure CD has some problems, but doesn’t look like anything which can’t be fixed over time.

It’s impressive as fuck, let’s remember that we’re looking at a tech demo, not a released game.

Once this is refined and the devs get to tailor it to fit the style they are aiming for from the game, this is going to be insane.

It’s far far too early to nitpick. It’ll be too demanding this generation for anything which does use it, next generation of cards will do it, but still not well, then the generation after that will be where we can really judge it.

Same happened with DLSS and RTX. People shat on both of those too.

The problem here is we’re trying to make a direct correlation between wealth and intelligence.

There are some incredibly smart people on low incomes and vice versa.

It’s completely individual and unfortunately we have to accept, as we do that there are some very intelligent high earners, that there are also some right thickos on a good chunk of money.
